ExcaliCast is a screen-recording and whiteboard app that runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
ExcaliCast requests access to your device's camera and microphone solely to provide picture-in-picture recording with voice narration. Camera and microphone data is processed locally on your device and is never sent to any server.
When you save a recording, ExcaliCast requests write-only access to your photo library. The app cannot read or browse your existing photos or videos.
ExcaliCast does not collect any of the following:
ExcaliCast does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The embedded drawing canvas is powered by the open-source Excalidraw library, which runs entirely within the app with no network access.
All data — including your drawings and recordings — is stored locally on your device. ExcaliCast does not use cloud storage, iCloud sync, or any remote backup services.
ExcaliCast does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, it is safe for all age groups.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
